The Open Studio Process doesn't stop for the summer! Please join us for the OSP Art Retreat, Intensive Facilitator Training, and our brand new Children's Summer Camps, as well as our regularly meeting classes.

Children's Summer Camps
 
The perfect way for children to spend their summer mornings: being creative in an open and playful atmosphere. Children 6 - 12 years old can be dropped off from 9AM - 12PM, Monday - Thursday, to enjoy a morning of fun art-making. 

7 sessions are offered starting June 12 - each session will work on different projects.

Intensive Facilitator Training
 
The Intensive Training Program trains participants in developing an OSP practice and equips them to facilitate the OSP Process with others. The training combines one week at Open Studio Project with a post-intensive period of supervision as you conduct workshops in your community.
Art Retreat
 
Refresh, renew, reconnect and plug into your artistic self for a 3-day weekend of art making! Experience Open Studio Project's unique process of intention setting, critique-free art making, and reflective journaling. Open Studio Project is a relaxed and friendly place where you will feel right at home. 
 
Held August 18 - 20.
Sketchbook to Canvas
Taught by visiting artist Janet Trierweiler.
 
In this class, you'll learn to create art which is personal, fresh and alive with feeling, while practicing both observational and imaginative drawing and painting methods. We'll explore ways of working with expression of line, gesture, perspective, rhythm, tone and color.  These methods are designed to help you discover real processes to bring inspiration to your art experience.  Class times include both outdoor sketching and studio work.  Materials include charcoal and water based oil paints.
 
   5 Weeks, from 1:00-3:30 pm: 
   Mondays, June 26th - July 24th
   or
   Tuesdays, June 27th - July 25th (no class July 4th). Make-up date tbd.

Art & Adventure

Evanston's original Art & Adventure is an ongoing series of classes that encourage creative exploration in an open, playful atmosphere with traditional plus new & unexpected art materials. Champion your child's artistic path & nurture creativity through curiosity & discovery. 
 
Art & Adventure will be held on Fridays starting June 18 for ages 2 - 6.

Other Adult Classes

Connecting with Creative Process will continue running on Sundays and Tuesdays. The Extended CCP course for the summer will run Thursdays from 1 - 3:30 starting June 15.

There will be one Intro to the OSP Process class held June 17 and one Art & Renewal: An OSP Process Workshop for Helping Professionals held June 23. 

Facilitator Training for Group H will be July 28 - 30.
